Wellness Team

Clatsop County’s Wellness Team is a group of employees who meet to promote wellness programs in the workplace.  Each year the county receives a cash payment from its health insurance carrier, City County Insurance Services, to be used exclusively for employee wellness programs. The money has funded such initiatives as a weight loss contest, a program to encourage healthy habits called the Old Switcheroo, yoga, a walking/fitness challenge that benefited the local food bank and a health fair.
