Oregon LNG proposes to construct and operate an onshore liquefied natural gas (LNG) receiving terminal and associated facilities near the confluence of the Skipanon and Columbia Rivers at Warrenton, Oregon, in Clatsop County. The proposed project includes construction of a turning basin and berth for unloading LNG carriers, facilities to receive and regasify LNG for transport to the national natural gas transmission grid, and approximately 121 miles of mainline natural gas pipeline, to an interconnection near Molalla, Oregon.
Only the pipeline would be located in rural areas of Clatsop County; the onshore and marine portions of the terminal would be located entirely within the City of Warrenton.
