Directions to County Facilities

The main campus is located in downtown Astoria at Eighth and Duane streets. The historic Clatsop County Courthouse at 749 Commercial St. houses the State Circuit Courts and the District Attorney’s Office.


Most county offices are located at 800 and 820 Exchange streets, across the intersection from the courthouse. Download and print a map of the main downtown campus or a map of all county offices.

  • Located at 800 Exchange are the Board of Commissioners, County Manager, Central Services (finance and information services), Juvenile Department and the Child Support Division of the District Attorney's Office.
  • Located next door at 820 Exchange are Assessment and Taxation, Clerk and Elections and Health and Human Services.
  • The Sheriff’s Office and Jail are located a block west of the courthouse. The Sheriff’s Office address is 355 Seventh St. The Jail’s address is 636 Duane St. The Sheriff’s Office also has satellite offices in Svensen and Jewell.

  • The Judge Guy Boyington Building, where the Board of Commissioners holds most of its meeting, is located at 857 Commercial St., one block from the courthouse. This facility is also the location of the county's secure ballot processing for elections.



Community Corrections and the Animal Shelter are located in Warrenton in the North Coast Business Park off Alternate Highway 101 at the end of Southeast 19th Street. From U.S. Highway 101, turn east onto Marlin Ave for one block and then left onto Alternate 101 for one-quarter mile. The business park is on your right. See Driving Directions

The Fisheries Project and the Oregon State University Clatsop County Extension programs are located in the Seafood Research and Education Center at 2001 Marine Drive, at the east end of downtown Astoria. See Driving Directions.

The Roads, Surveyor and County Engineer offices are located at the southwest edge of the Astoria city limits at 1100 Olney Avenue, also known as Oregon Highway 202.
